This is a very basic project for the uninitiated but it’s a simple and easy way to make a lovely, decorative flat iron bed.
There are a few options to consider, including the classic flat iron or the decorative flat bed.
The flat iron can be made in a variety of ways and we have provided links to some of the most popular styles for you to choose from.
The flat bed can also be decorated, which makes it easy to decorat your flat and get the right decorating style.
I have had many clients request that I make this project because of the flat iron’s simplicity.
So here’s how to make your own flat iron: 1.
Place a piece of scrap fabric or scrap metal over the top of the iron.
Place the flat in the center of the fabric.
Secure the iron to the fabric by applying glue or adhesive.
Make the flat by placing the iron against the fabric and sliding the flat over the fabric until it is about halfway across the fabric or until the iron is flush with the fabric edges.
Using the flat as a template, shape the flat to the shape of your bed.
Apply a layer of glue on the underside of the bed to create a “tangle”.
Add a layer or two of glue to the top to create an “open” shape.
Make another layer or so of glue, to form the “closed” shape, using the same technique.
Slide the flat across the piece of fabric to create the “open bed” shape by applying the glue to its underside.
Slide a second piece of material over the edge of the open bed to form a “closed bed” by applying more glue.
Slide over the finished form to form another “closed form” by adding another layer of the glue.
If you prefer, you can add a couple of layers of glue between the two pieces of fabric before attaching them together.
If you want to make the bed look more luxurious, add some decorative decorations, like gold leaf or gold thread.
